Founder
Diana Serna-Bonnin
Born and raised in Laredo, Texas. Diana Serna-Bonnin has 40+ years of experience
in the consumer finance industry. Under the tutelage of her mother Lily, Diana began
working in the consumer finance industry in 1980.
In 1982, Diana began working in the private sector of the small-consumer finance
industry. In 2010, after 30 years in the industry she met with her life-long mentor,
J. E. Funderburk. With his support and proven vision, Diana decided to pursue her
lifelong goal of starting her own business. J. E. Funderburk and Diana Serna-
Bonnin founded Prestamos Del Rey (PDR Loans) in 2010.
In November 2023 Diana assumed full ownership of PDR Loans.
Although she attended multiple Business Schools, her desire to go back to school
never left her heart. In 2007 she was recognized and inducted into Delta Mu Delta
International Honor Society. In 2007 she graduated from Our Lady of The Lake
University with her BBA, Magna Cum Laude. In 2008 she graduated from Our Lady
of The Lake University with her MBA.
